Like one or two lapping sessions...plenty of life for like 2 seasons of autox. The slicks on the steelies now I have been told were only heat cycled once....i want to track them so bad.

I'm a little confused about which shocks are to be used in the rear. I have seen numerous posts which say to use "foxbody mustang" shocks, but at the beginning of this post you state that it is a 1996 and the part number you list is for 1994 and up mustangs. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KYB-743021/Application/?prefilter=1

I was always under the impression that the "foxbody" mustangs were only up until 1993: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_%28third_generation%29

I used the ones in the first post. I am willing to bet the older ones work also...

Well that's because they are some nascar shit. If you are looking to go bigger than pizza cutter with a 15 you have to buy slicks.

Hoshi'z are sick.

You're gonna have a great time finding tires for a 13 lululul.

I thought I would let maxpow know that I just got 4 new slicks for 100 bucks for the steelies...I killed my 2 rear slicks at the last autox cuz my rear toe was all fucked...I only needed 2 new slicks...but my ex step dad picked me up 4. Whatever, I will have 2 spares. :D

Sam-ummm yeah idk i thought it looked right to me, i dont think it really matters

Denree. the agx are plenty stiff haha more in the front then in the back though. you will have to drill out the top hat to get the threads for the agx to come through its a easy task. im going to weld up a bar from each tower and the two from that to the back seat

Hello

I received back shock absorbers AGX today!

Assembly:

Babblefish may or may not be your friend, you decide...

Hello

I received back shock absorbers AGX today!

Assembly:

Rear shock received:

Comparison with a shock with the original S12 AGX Mustang

For the shock passes into the bell, you must file a bit to reduce the diameter, or choice, enlarge the holes of the bell, but Me, I did not want to touch the body.

And here it is mounted:

After a short bumpy road test, there is a better, but there is an imbalance with the front. Therefore considered better, I expect to receive before AGX shock. Then I could set the hardness of the shock.

Here the ref:
Front: KYB AGX de Toyota MR2 ref: 765015
Rear: KYB AGX de Ford Mustang ref: 743021

Post Merge: [time]03:14:20 AM / 25-May-11 [/time]
Here are the shock before the shock MR2 on S12

Has the same diameter as that of S12, and it is exactly 40mm shorter. So I cut a piece of stainless steel tube of 40mm to the bottom of the strut.
As the shock arrives at the same level as the original and can be tightened with the ring provided for.

Here hold my 40mm stainless

And here comes the shock of how MR2, just like the original

Then you have to drill the hole in the mound as the suspension rod damper MR2 is larger diameter. So we must drill a 15mm.

And as the thread does not descend not enough, I took three very thick slices to compensate, and we just finally tighten the nut on top. You can see the adjustment screw 4 positions. I am currently on 2 and it is already far more rigid! The only thing con is that when you pierce through the holes encountered at 15mm, it eliminates the "flat" which.

That the damper tightly.

can i get away with running stock struts on canuck lowering springs for drifting? I don't have any fab knowledge. can i just hit up auto zone and buy the top of the line struts and put the canucks on em and drift without blowing em? they total out to be 150 for all 4 the most expensive ones they sell at autozone.

from everything i have read the stock struts are too long of a stroke for the canuck springs and blow out quickly, especially while drifting.
