Long Story But Now Cranks But Doesn't Turn Over

So anyone who's seen my for sale thread knows my car and how sexy it is  Had a crazy time trying to sell it, selling it, and then reacquiring it. Now I got a KA24DE in it and all lined up unlike last time. Wired it up and it cranks but just won't start. Getting spark and pretty sure I'm getting fuel. I put my ecu into the diagnostic mode and the led comes on for a split second and goes off. Any ideas why? Thanks guys. And the offer of paying you to come help me finish it still stands. Needs about a half days work and it'll be good to go I'm sure.

Sounds like a loose connection, I'd go over all the splices you made and make sure all the battery and grounds are tight!  Start with that and see where you go...

I experienced an issue similar to yours and as Sterling stated was a weak ground. You should probably make sure your grounds are solid and go from there.
FIrst my rims are horrible, than there ok when painted black , now my cars horrible, now my fenders are to much after i was told i couldnt do it.... Lol club s12 ftw.....  Only here have Ive been told they look like shit..... SOrry its not bone stock with crown vic rims running the stock vg making 130whp and looks generic like every other one. My car looks dope ive been told this a billion times on local forums....

And, just for good measure....make sure you have the fuel lines hooked up right.
That was my dumb problem. Made the assumption I was getting fuel because there was pressure in the lines. Do'h!

But, Sterling is almost certainly right on this one.

I was worried about the fuel lines myself but I think they're right now. The feed line goes to the one that doesn't have the fpr on it right?

Well checked all my grounds and found a couple on the chassis harness that weren't hooked up. Bought a fresh battery and still no dice. It makes kind of a blooping sound when I crank it. The ecu is throwing a code 12 for maf circuit which makes sense because I don't have a maf yet. Could this make it not start? Here's a video of it cranking.

Well I put a distributor on it and lined it up but I may have accidentally lined it up on the wrong tdc for the #1 cylinder. Also can anyone tell me which fuel line goes to which port on the fuel rail just to be safe? I'm going to check it out some more tonight after work. Thanks.

Had timing wrong and now it starts but doesn't stay running! So psyched! Thanks guys! I'm going to go get a maf tomorrow or asap and hopefully get this good to go. Any other opinions on why it dies right after if I don't give it gas? I'm thinking either maf or fuel pump.

Got a maf and runs perfect! Now just needs a bunch of little finishing touches. Can't seem to figure out the transmission crossmember. Modified mine just like in arro's guide but it just doesn't seem to line up. I guess I'm going to see about getting a custom one made.

just slot the crossmember more, make it fit.  slot the rubber mount's holes themselves as well and you should be good.

yeah, maf is needed for sure, sometimes they'll run without one, depends on the car.

Running, driving, terrible pain in the ass. Went to drive it home from the shop the other day and my tire blew out. Then got the spare on and that blew. Towed home 15 miles on flat spare
New tires on some tear drops and it's looking pretty decent lol.
Now undergoing turbo surgery. Wish me luck guys

WOW! Car makes life difficult yet again. Throwout bearing went out and was smoking like a house on fire! Power steering line also has a hole in it which proceeded to spray out and probably add to the smoke lol. Turbo project on hold  Also, the slave cylinder is so old and nasty one of the mounting tab things broke off and just crumbled to dust lol. Anyone know if an s13 slave cylinder will work?

Car wont start! How do you test a crank angle sensor? Tried searching but everything is vague at best.
