Kame - An S12 Mk1 story!

Just a write up about my 1984 (Datsun) Nissan 200sx (s12),
Ideal for this car is that I wanted a drift machine, autocross, rally and fun car.
At the start I'm utilizing the CA20E just to make it reliable underpowered car for my learning curve, but by summers end of 2011 I'll be swapping in a fresh KA24 DE / E that will one day be boosted with a turbo.

Picked up the Dirty faded Blue Nissan 200sx from Yakima, Washington.
When I bought it, it drove nice and shifted smooth. Took it to the nearest gas station to fill it up so I can drive it home but that is when the Timing belt shredded.

Spent about a month after that slowly breaking it down, and learning my cars engine functions.
New battery, new timing belt, new spark plugs and wires.
Learned that the CA20E is an interference motor, and suspected that all my valves are bent.  So I've spent a day removing the head.
When I Removed the head, I Found some bolts stripped and broke.

Latest updates as of 12/16/2010
New Timing belt is in, new Valve Seals and Valve Stems for both intake and exhaust, Head gasket kit.( I got a new belt prior to the new belt because I kinda jacked up the other new one i bought months ago lol )
I still need to get all new hoses, Radiator hoses, Heater hoses, etc.. Oil,Oil Filter.  I'll update more of my progress as I get them.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I was in a recent move back to las vegas, I'll be pulling the bottom half of the CA20 soon. I might just start looking for a KA24 now since I'm back in my home town and just sell the whole CA20.

Unfortunately I've Sold Kame due to money issues and my SE v6 Build / Project I've decided to focus money and time in now, and spending the money to bring kame to vegas is kinda not worth the effort especially since SRA hatches in better condition pop up alot in the SW.

Kame was stored in a storage unit for a long time, so keep it in NW car I've sold it to someone that will take good care of her.
