I want to know if i should go blown through Maf right now, since the engine is out and i must make a custom intercooler piping


how much effect it the ecu? did i need a retune?

or should i wait until i have the engine inside and everything work?

If you want to run a BOV and not be rich between shifts, then yes...go blow-thru.

Is this on a CA18et?

What are you using to tune the motor? Most computers are able to adjust for a VTA blow off valve in a traditional draw-through setup. But if you do wanna go blow-through, make sure the maf has like 6 inches of straight pipe on either side of it so that it gets a good reading of how much air is going through the system.

Do you have enough room to make a turbo inlet pipe that can hold the maf? If it was my car, that would be what i would base my decision on.

honestly i read alot about and everyone says something diffrent

3inches or 4 some says 8 and some say it runs fine on every position

iam still tray to get a supra TT maf if not i hope i can mod the oem maf until i find a better solution

No retune for original MAFS (airflow = airflow, pressurized or not), but if he's going to run that Supra MAFS, then he'll need to adjust for that anyway.

And yea, it will read the airflow more accurately, as it's measuring right before the throttle body.
