Grab-its work very well, I used those on some busted exhaust manifold studs with great success, its a good idea to soak the bolt in penetrating oilfor a good day or so to help the process.

If you see in the reflection of my glasses, that's the furthest my arms go so psh on the picture.

I considered vise gripping it out and EZ outs. However, like I said, I have no ride anywhere so I can't really go and buy anything at the moment. My friend just woke up though, so we'll see. I'm pretty irritated by this :[

I did nap though, from the time of my last post to just now, so I'm feeling a little better about the situation. :]

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

thats why grab-its are win, they dont usually snap.

another option is to use a dremel and grind some flat surfaces on the sides, that way you can get a wrench on it.

Extractors are junk, they rely on drilling the hole, and they push out on the sides, making the bolt tighter.

Option One: Left handed drill bit. Drills out the center, and the walls collapse, loosening the bolt, tightening on the bit and it comes right out. All in one nice, easy motion. Best size is a tad smaller than the inside diameter of the the threads, but guesses will most likely be fine
,
Option Two. cut timing belt. MAPP Gas torch and a GOOD set of vice grips. New timing belt required

Option Three. Angle grinder, Cut a slit on the the surface, put a chisel or a flathead (Thicker = better, of course) as far out on the surface as possible, tap with 3 lb maul to turn it out.

Option four, cut off parts of head to make oblong with flat sides rather than a circle, same thing with chisel, flathead, or vice grips. (Mentioned above)

Option Five: Screw 20e. KA swap <- My recommendation

Tedious?  This coming from a person who uses the word twice in a sentence?  I laughed repeatedly...

I've had this happen.

A pair of vice grips on the head of the bolt, they don't need to be super flush, just solidly on there, and loosen.  Unfortunately this is quite common with the single cam CA's, if you need a new one (as always) I have several about the place, ships easy in an envelope.

With vice grips, you should be ok.

Flush all the coolant while you're at it too!  There is a plug on the lower back part of the block behind the exhaust manifold, it is at the bottom rear of the water jacket and if you remove it you will drain the whole engine part of the system.  don't forget teflon tape or paste when reinstalling so it doesn't leak tho.

Carefully drill out the hole until there are just threads left inside. Using a scribe, clean as much of the threads out, then start a tap in the hole to clean out the rest.  If this fails drill over sized for a thread insert.

Lotsa luck, Wolf

Stripped P.O.S

Weld a big nut to it and turn it out with a wrench... or grind a slot into it with a cut off wheel and use a big screw driver.

Anyone interested in turbocharging their vg? Shoot me a PM. Buck Ofama

grind the slot off it,

then use a impact hammer/chisel and aim it diagonal to break it loose

Oh wow, all you guys are really helpful, I REALLY appreciate it!! It sucks, I'm going to go attempt to vise grip it right now, and see how that works. I haven't touch my car since it snapped, just been frustrated and 0 patience.

I guess that's the only downfall to being a woman who's into cars.
Cars = patience, women = no patience.

A guy friend brought me to that realization.

Well JEEZ that's good to know. It's going to the exhaust shop tomorrow so that I can finally get that done, I'm going to see if the guy is down to weld a bit into it and pull that crap out, finally.

As for that hideous animal, ew.
