Silhouette Autosports Adjustable S12/Z31 Rear Control Arms

This is a modification to the original rear control arms for S12s and Z31s. These arms compensate for negative camber on lowered cars and allow precise alignment of camber and toe.

The true benefit and reason I made these is not just to correct camber but to actually make the rear alignable. Here are my rear alignment specs before and after modifying my rear control arms.

Before: (Lowered car. Toe adjustment maxed out towards negative.)
left rear---------right rear
camber:-3.6----camber:-3.3
toe:0.17---------toe:0.20
------total toe:0.37

After: (Arms were installed and the car was LOWERED TWO MORE INCHES and then aligned.)
left rear---------right rear
camber:-1.9----camber:-2.0
toe:0.04---------toe:0.05
------total toe:0.09

They've been tested on the track and street. No problems have occurred.

I'm located in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Price for the mod is $200 plus return shipping. If you need me to source control arms locally its an additional $100. I can also install polyurethane bushings for another $50.  Local installation and alignment service available.  Domestic shipping for both arms is typically $100-$150.

I can also make and ship you just the adjustment brackets. Then you cut your control arms and weld the brackets in. They are $145 shipped domestic and $195 shipped international

Wait time for arms or brackets is 4-6 weeks. These are made by hand on my days off from my day job.

I'm hoping to order these sometime after March. I have a drift day at the end of March, my rear camber sucks at the moment, hoping it wont make the day suck lol. First time on track with the S12, last time there was in my turbo Miata, so pretty big difference there lol. Wanting to do this with Z31 arms so I get a double upgrade at once. Great stuff man.

Thanks for posting Gary.

Heres the full photo album on the Silhouette Autosports Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.650712234992160.1073741839.515823818481003&type=3

The alignment screen photo really tells the whole story. Garys rear alignment is better than mine and better than any IRS S12 or Z31. His control arms were cut at 93 degrees instead of 90 like mine. To know exactly what I mean check out the Control Arm Cutting Guide (http://club-s12.org/retro4/index.php?topic=37359)

Heres how to bend you brake hardline thats mounted on the rear control arm. Gently bending it by hand it the best way to do it.

Andy's control arms. He got brackets and did the arms himself. Check out the stance shot. Rear camber looking great. Solid axle status
