So, I guess I need to clarify based on my post that has been referenced in this thread.

In my first sentence, I sought to thank all those who were there.  For several of you, I met for the first time and am sure I may be able to meet again.  Sorry, I have forgotten some of your names.  I'm much more of a face person.

As far as what i was aware, we were all there to have fun and represent the S12 chassis.  I did not mention any placements for that was not what I wished to talk about.  Besides the lack of sleep and my need to constantly clean my car, it was great.  I wanted to thank those specifically who went out of their way in hosting me in some fashion.  One even accommodated a request I had from weeks prior, which I am thankful for.

My condolences if there was offense taken.

On a side note, I figure if a synopsis was written about the event that all those who represented the S12 would be mentioned; those of placement as well.  When I do finish my trip up north later this week and am able to finish my write up, all those will be mentioned, it will be more comprehensive.

Thanks for posting up pics for those who did here as well as elsewhere.  Lots of good cars out there and great to see them.  I did walk around a little but some of of those posted I missed.

Cheers

That last post in the other thread....

He didn't mention me either but I don't give a fuck. Colin probably didn't do it to be a dick.... and even if he did, be the bigger man(figuratively), pack a bowl(not figuratively), and say (to yourself only) fuck it.

<3.

Plz refrain from banstick.

I had a great fucking time, thanks everyone, arro, for being very receptive of my little man and my lady they had a great time. Grats to colin and arro for 1st and 3rd. Andrew your car is sick, I want you back on CS12 (plz continue to refrain from banstick), henry I want you back and I want your connections(just put the banstick down plz), justin your car is always sex and I want it on my ween, Alex I want your emo hair flips and I'm glad you moved next to me, Sterling you are the true guru of this chassis and I <3 your knowledgeable-ness about.... everything, Hung "really fuckin" Low you are the man Stacey really liked you cause you're so goddamn outgoing and you never shut up <3 <3 to you, All the new guys I met; Colin your SE is a shining example of what the car can be, Stacey kept telling me that I should have one like yours (my wallet fucking cried)Wankel nice to meet you bro!

Think that's everyone. Oh yeah, guy with the ragged ass s13 kit, go off yourself. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Just headbutt a curb or something.

Who was the guy with the S13 kit on the s12? Oh and TANKX <3 for the compliments Andrew2. I've been getting that a lot lately haha. I find it kind of odd but eh. I'm not THAT outgoing. It's the beard. That's gotta be it. Yeah, beard.

Yeah I really fell in love with these cars, and I think the socal crew is the sickest car club I've ever been apart of and I really enjoy chilling with everyone here. Cars are my life anyways, I just happened to be broke at the right time and made a hobby of SE ownership.

It has to deal with the chassis.  If the chassis was available in 1985 or before, the following years the chassis was available are allowed.  That is why my car being an 87 was still allowed.

That being said, there are three more years of S13 free JCCS. :p  I cannot wait to see what that brings.

which is quite unfortunate, imo.  I think it should be production year personally.

Sorry, but a Mk2 S12 is really not all that similar to a Mk1 S12.

I don't agree, the Mark II is close enough to the Mark II to look like the same car. Good enough for me.

I guess my car wasn't hellaflush or connected enough for speedhunters lolz. It's ok, the people I wanted recognition from gave it.

I need to do something different with the car tho... I haz some ideas in the works, and I suppose I have a year to implement them.

Thinking about new cars and even some 90s cars being considered "classics" in future makes me shake my head.  S13s are cool and all, but...classic to me just has a certain vibe and it started dying in the 80s.
