Arro, not to be too picky, but could you post a profile picture of your car?  From what I remember, your fitment isnt really flush to start with.  There is a bit too much room between the fender and the wheel.  I have just adjusted the height of my rear and fixed my camber in the rear so now it is flush.  Pics will be available soon.  The fronts are a bit too high to be flush imo, but a whole new suspension setup is on its way.  And yes, plenty of cars out there can be tracked while being 'HellaFlush'.  I have seen it and such.  It depends on the setup on the car and the chosen type of racing.  I personally wont go any lower than where I am sitting now.  It is good enough to look good while still staying functional.

And I still dont get why there is a continuation of this topic.  Seems that it is beat to death and every time Henry is brought up.  More of a beaten record to me.

I too will join the fraternity of over-lowered cars.. I've got two sets of springs for my stance coilovers, but currently no front sway bar. I need some way of reducing body roll, and you can couple that with the fact that drifting is a fairly... in-elegant form of racing.. I've rocked a set of 18's in the past, but they were far too baller for my car.

That article re: suspension setups and the idiocy of hella flush has some very good points.. But does it properly weigh that perhaps people just like to have their cars look a certain way? Not everyone is trying to build a race car.

either way, fuck retarded camber and ugly wide rims.  I'd rather have a car that does what i WANT rather than looks pretty.  I dont own an S12 to look rice, i own it because i can build em to function how i want.  And this thread isnt getting locked atm.  I haven't seen anything TOO terrible yet.  Also, It isn't our fault that the rice crowd thinks this hellafail shit is cool.

I get the impression that the catch all defense of "I prefer smaller rims" or "Stock ride height is fine" is becoming more of an excuse for people who have an effectively stock car yet want to make it seem like they have spent countless hours pondering and tweaking it's inner workings. Well, perhaps the truth is that you haven't been tuning/tweaking it and that it is effectively bone stock. If this is the case there are two things you should know 1) Who the fuck cares what you do to your car? 2) Stop pretending your car is something that it is not.

Factory spec is an excellent starting point, but can be improved upon. If your goal is to have a mint 'stock spec' s12 I have nothing but respect for you, but please do not hate on people who choose to lower/slam/hella flush/mismatch wheel their cars.. That is just a sure sign of ignorance.

To summarize: Please do not mislabel bone stock cars (in appearance or function) as 'properly tuned' cars and all others as miscreants of the hobby as fools.

Only clubs12 would have interest in a thread as lame as this, really. No one in question is building a race car, in fact, nearly everyone here has a car that

A. doesn't run

or

B. doesn't do shit

So honestly, the majority of you guys have absolutely no business in hating. Rather, your uneducated and unvalidated comments and opinions mean nothing to anyone but yourselves.

edit: I agree with Dan, I mean to say something similar but with the whole asshole angle.

Also, Dan, cool notch. Are those AP1 s2000 wheels? lol

WOW, Now im afraid of posting pictures of my car on this forum , for those who are hating on those cars need to go to japan and talk some sense to the bosozoku's, they are doing it wrong. the sad thing is that the pictures of the hellaflush cars is probably faster than 90% of the cars on this forum including the xb. the truth HURTS =(

If you want a super stiff non functional huber low hellaflush car, it's a matter of choice,

And if some suspension genius give me the excuse of lowering the gravity center.. just get wider tire and rip off your huber cool electric sunroof.. now THAT would lower the gravity center of your ride and keep your suspension functionnal.

the Hellaflush cancer is one of the few things I can hardly understand in life.

Stupid:

Cool:

We need to print some stickers like those:

how can you compare a street car to a track car?

this degraded quickly...
cant we just agree that on the right car it looks good, but that there is no functional value to running 6~ whatever degrees of camber and that its a detriment to the handling?

besides...the argument the Japanese do it doesn't really makes sense for 2 rasons
1) camber and tire stretching was originally a european thing...
 2) japan has used panty vending machines...just because they do it doesn't mean it should be done

Someone here got their panties in a bunch...must be a hellafail fanboi.

I run my car on dirt/gravel trails with a couple other guys here locally, so I don't see how your A and B theory really fits....

And also, this thread isn't a club-s12 conversation only, obviously SOMEONE else wrote an entire 4 page article about why it's retarded, and how you can build your car to be worth a damn instead...on a completely separate website.

I will say it looks ugly to me due to the usual camber that goes along with it.  If they did it, minus camber, i'd agree with you SC that it looks alright on certain cars, but i still would rather my tire not be hidden in the fender personally on any car i'll own.

and also, /thread on SC's last lines

Wow this thread went good to wtf now let's all cry about it hahahaha anyway like it was previously stated who gives a rats ass everybody builds there cars for whatever they are into and and nobody should have neg comments about anothers car unless asked for an opinion I don't remember the op askin for an opinion so everyones is moo point including mine lol I don't know why everyone gets all butthurt about hellaflush if you don't like it good for you if you do godd for you too the car scene is really starting to turn into high school rich girl drama who has the best rims stance or whatever who gives a shit build your car and do you and the rest of will do us. It shouldn't matter what people think about your hence why we drive s12's and not s13 or 14's. I mean seriously let I hate this and that bullshit go.like deadpirate said go build your car or stop driving and go collect miley cyrus stickers or something. I mean seriously let this shit go......
