Landon's 88: Daily + Rad parts sponge
« on: 08:10:15 AM / 07-Jul-15 »
Hey!  After YEARS of longing for a 200, I finally picked up a decent car at a decent price:

$900, runs & drives fine, minimal rust, *actual* cold AC (how many times is that word "cold" just thrown in there to get the sale?)

Immediately I've GOT to get it swapped over to a 5 speed.  The hardest part's going to be finding a donor car in a local salvage yard.  Also considering an engine swap as the CA may get kinda boring quick, I presume.  Really not sure here.

Also NEEDS different wheels.  I have some black enkei 92's sitting around, but they're 14" and need tires, while the current wheels are 15" w/ new tires.  I'll keep my eyes open for some!

On the other hand, I want to make some super cool parts for it.  I'm self employed making manual machined/ CNC plasma cut parts for the FC. Few examples:

So I DEFINITELY am going to see what I can come up with as time goes by, with this car!

All in all, I'm REALLY excited to FINALLY have one of these, and can't wait to start crafting it into my own!

I don't know how badly you want a donor, or how far you're willing to travel for junk, but this is probably still available.

Too far, but looks like a good donor.  I'd probably wind up restoring it, lol

I also have a perfect condition dash the same color as yours. Included all 4 vents and it's pulled and sitting in my garage. I'll be moving soon and would like to get rid of it so PM me if you have an interest. It's in NC.
