I drove an '88 Accord DX hatchback all through college, great car for practicality, but slow and not much fun even with a 5-speed.  Then, later in life, my wife had a 2006 Civic (hated it), and we currently have a 2006 CR-V which I absolutely love as a family car.  It's wonderfully practical and handles like a much smaller vehicle.  No complaints there.  But it doesn't handle like my lowered '88 200SX SE or my DD '96 SE-R, of course.

Catskill, huh?  I lived in Kingston when I was very young.  I'm pretty familiar with that East Upstate region.  Does Catskill Game Farm still exist?

I'm not as old as some here, but I'm older than most...

I've owned a Honda, Mitsubishis, Toyotas, Nissans, a Ford, Chevys, Dodges, and a VW...

In chronological order:
1. 1986 Chevrolet Camaro RS
2. 1988 Dodge Daytona
3. 1988 Dodge Daytona
4. 1987 Dodge Daytona
5. 1988 Dodge Daytona Pacifica
6. 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbo II
7. 1989 Chrysler Laser Turbo
8. 1990 Plymouth Laser Turbo
9. 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-X
10. 1994 Ford Thunderbird LX
11. 1992 Honda Prelude Si
12. 1985 Nissan 200SX Turbo
13. 1991 Volkswagen Corrado G60
14. 1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo
15. 2000 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner V6 TRD
16. 1984 Nissan 200SX Turbo
17. 2000 Dodge Neon SE
18. 1985 Nissan 200SX CA20E (now a KA24DE)
19. 1985 Nissan Silvia RS-X FJ20
20. 2002 Lexus IS300
21. 1986 Toyota Corolla SR-5

So I've had over 20 cars, and the only makes I haven't owned yet are Mazda or a Jeep. Yet. :P

I've had six Chrysler G-bodies, four Nissans (of which three were S12's), three Toyotas, two DSM's, and so on and so forth... so you can see that I'm no stranger to many different cars.

Anyways my point is that it's great you discovered the S12, but loving the S12 doesn't have to mean losing love for other cars ;)

So what are your plans with it? It IS a CA20 car, and you know what they say... Once you swap it, you can't stop it :P

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

well, for interesting factoids, I've never owned a car with pistons.  Well least ones that you can drive in, R/C cars don't count.
