it might be 1mpg and 2hp, but the whole system line, evap, compressor and all must weight as much as I do... plus up here in Canada, I must turn it on on the mazda at least onces a month for the seals not to dry up... if I didn't have to do that, I'd flick the switch on maybe a week a year.... and it would be exactly time now... it's 35 celcius now and feels like 46 with the humidity in the air... (that's 95 and 115 for you guys that still use the Fahrenheit scale :P)  but like maxpow said, sweating is good for you!

With that said, on my rolla, the engine drives only the essentials... an alternator and a water pump... everything else is for pussies :P

Unless you weigh as much as a 6 year old boy, It doesn't weigh as much as you. On an S13, the compressor is the heaviest part in at 20lbs. There is absolutely zero way it all weighs more than 45 lbs. It's pretty negligible, at best, for a DD. As for my E30, It's ALL less than 1% of the total weight of my vehicle. I lost more weight in my E30 stripping out the trunk tar, AND then adding my Sub.

Yes. I installed my system. Lost a little weight. And maintained my weight distribution.

So I guess that means nobody has done it.  Guess I'll be the first pussy to try it.  I love it when I get an ass load of replies that don't even answer the f'ing question.  Thank you to all that get why a/c is important in different climates.  Besides, there's no way I'm letting my 2 year old sweat to death in a 100 degree car.   Again, if this was a track only car I wouldn't even be posting this shit.

I'm sure it's the same process as an s13 or s14. You'll need the stock s12 ac line and stock sr ac line on the driverside. An ac shop or welding specialty shop will have to cut off the two lines and weld the two lines together. Some bending of the hoses may be needed depending on your turbo setup.

I'll go through this same process once my s13 is tuned, I know ac isn't possible if I do plan to go top mount in the case that I don't like the power band of my current setup. Ac will be installed and working before next summer comes around if I decide to stick with my HKS GTRS turbo setup.

1 day timeout. He wasn't addressing anyone, or all of us in particular. His post was very thought out and nice, and not attacking in any way.
Your was attacking him, DIRECTLY.
Besides, Faggot is reserved for loud ass harley drivers.

1 day timeout. At LEAST you apologized to us, but you still get to reap what you sow.
