BMW E30 Rear Shocks & Springs

but mustang shocks are impossibel to get in europe :-P
i ask a local ford deal about foxbody shocks

his face was like

?FOX? ?BODY? !MUSTANG! ??????
iam pretty sure he was imagine a shemale at that moment LOL

no i spread that info for ppl like me which search all time for spare/upgrade parts and cant find a info cause nobody realy tried it before

Koni,bilstein etc make shorter ones and they are easy to find here in germany
also M3 are shorter

the only thing which worry me is the upper part
the thread size is smaller than the s12 ones-->small problem
bolt hole is exact same diameter

E30 Springs WONT WORK

you can use them but they are serious short. i tested H&R Motorsport (6cmdrop) springs...theyre just 17cm tall!(1/3 of the oem spring size) the seat also need a small mod to fit over the pearch.
maybe a OEM BMW one would be a nice slam on a S12.
so far the VW Passat front springs are the best bet from an other brand

I have a lot of factory springs, that if you pay for shipping I'll send a pair to you, But I really don't think they'll fit around the S12 lower spring perch.

the most s12 owners here are happy if they can make theyre 12Ãƒâ€šÃ,Â´s run somehow

im running e30 springs KONI 40mm drop in the back. tire specs 195/50/15

what shock are you using? what are your spring rates? wheel size? live axle or IRS?

right now shocks are oem dead. i wanna run e30 shocks just need to be shortened. friend have audi coupe 1990 rear shocks on s13 so its also option. well its all about custom on s12...
IRS. wheels are melber 195/50/15 et12 and 30mm spacer (4x114.3->4x100). arches are from e30 stock places just ~2cm wider. springs are koni -40mm drop no idea about rate but they are hard my guess 6kg
since car is at project stage i have only crappy pics with crappy work

any camber mods? wheels look fairly straight to be an IRS model lol

just needs a wider wheel to fill in that fender lol

thanks, blame camera angle for looking straight. camber mods are on "to do list". maybe will cut 1cm off from fenders. first need to sort out that camber bs.
also have these 9j et-27 including 30mm spacer

yes, they are exip. mesh style wheels allways looks great on old school cars

cheap way is to get custom spacers made. in my case 30mm rear (25mm front) 4x114.3 to 4x100 with e30 hub center size. and then you can think about bbs rm with 3" lip
