All under 21, and I don't see a car that's older than '05. or cost less than 50,000.

My first car, and one of the newest I've owned, was a 1995 Ford Escort station wagon, I paid 2,000 for it.

America's hat disappoints me.

BoostedVG (in regards to people hating on the VG) - Me thinks they were not the mechanic they thought and blamed it all on the engine.

Colonol Gustard - youre one of the few people that represent the s12 chassis like a boss!

Wow!  That's pretty crazy,  I wonder how they organized that.  Those cars are obviously daddy's rides,  but that many of them?  Strange.

What a bunch of idiots. Hell, my first car was a hand-me-down Saturn SL. It ran on 3 of its cylinders, shifted poorly, and the A/C didn't work half the time. That's not to say I never raced anybody in it, but shit, man. Kids, these days.

That said, I have to wonder why we don't see this kind of organized race happen in Dallas anymore.

Nah, quoted for future use because not only is it lame and old, but it's a direct link to Schizo posting up homoerotic menswear fanfiction.

They're just idiots,  not as much that they're over privileged.  And having a pos first car doesn't necessarily mean that someone will grow up not doing things like this or respecting anything more.  I've met a bunch of well off kids who got any car they wanted and they still very much appreciated it,  respected it,  and didn't race it on the highway.  What I'm getting at is,  they did this because they're Canadian.

those cars will do 60-125 in like 4 seconds... if i had any one of those cars i would hit it once in a while too...

also i'm guessing the people calling the cops are just hating on young kids with money.  i know quite a few self made millionaires that are <26 out here, all of which is from the internet and they hate how people think its daddies money.

Haters are in a class all their own.  Best to let them think what they want and go about their dismal lives.

Be humble.  No grumble.

But the vast majority were under 21, and had provisional licenses. No one is self-made at 17. It's gotta be their families' money that paid for those vehicles.

Why the interest in their personal finances?  Unless you plan on robbing them.  I was more intrigued by the eclectic gathering of cars than speed, ages, ownership...

But hey!  You don't exactly post your age now do you?

I never post my age on a forum I'm new to. Just a personal policy. Call me paranoid, but it's how I am lol

Anyway, I just hate it when this kind of thing happens, because it really lends credence to people who say rich people have an above-the-law mentality, and rich kids are spoiled little brats. I hate when examples of stereotypes coming true show up.

If they were ageless, poor and driving beaters would it be News worthy?  The one you love to hate.

I nominate Shark for best new addition to this forum. Props to the one kid that had ANY of these cars registered in their name. Aside from that, props to ALL these kids' parents for providing them an opportunity to make this mistake. I know plenty of people from daddy's money and my response always has been and always will be the same, "good for your parents."
Infrequently driving an s12.

BoostedVG

A bunch of kids racing high end cars is not news worthy either. To me it ranks with what Obama named his dog. I guess I would be celebrating and in a better mood if i didn't have a head on with a bridge the other day.

Anyone interested in turbocharging their vg? Shoot me a PM. Buck Ofama

Hope you are doing well.  What was that stupid bridge doing in your way?  You got me on Obama's dog name.  I still don't know.

Thanks! Don't expect everyone agrees since I already stepped on a few toes.
