I'm sure the mods will be able to clean this up and make the formatting better, I don't quite have the experience with writing technical threads, but I figure since this doesn't appear to be all in one place, that it would be nice to have a Stickied Thread!  This is, of course, for USDM models, and the information is straight out of my 1988 FSM.  It includes information on ALL US models, including those with the ca20 engine.

All figures are "mm (in)" just like in the manual.  This should be a given, but I know there is still a lot of confusion, the left and right is orientated as though you were sitting in the driver seat, looking out the windshield.

  • CA20E All - 21.0 (2.14, 119.8)
  • CA18ET and VG30E - 29.1 (2.97, 166.3)
(Interesting note, FSM has a typo and shows the lb/in rate as only 116 for the CA18ET and VG30E models, a quick google conversion of the other two listed rates got the proper lb/in

BoostedVG (in regards to people hating on the VG) - Me thinks they were not the mechanic they thought and blamed it all on the engine.

Colonol Gustard - youre one of the few people that represent the s12 chassis like a boss!

Temporarily Sticking this information.  I will come back and re-format the thread a bit in a little while.
