i wasnt planing on doing this right now but a friend bought my s13.... so i went and bought this 1984 hatch. the inside is pretty decent, needs a really good cleaning but is whole. door panels and seats arent bad!. but i have a nice set of turbo seats waiting. it also has been hit in the rear, im worryed about this but i think it can be fixed. The car is a SRA car.. it has been sitting for 7years. the owner did rebuild the motor and said it sat for a while so it started to smoke.. once we got it home i just threw in a battery, used some carb cleaner and the motor fired right up!. the tank is good and the pump still works. so i think with some fresh gas and plugs, fuel filter this ca20 could probly run eought to beat around with it.  so for now my plan is to clean the car up, replace the tail lights and other pieces, find a turbo wing, and lip kit. get the ca20 running for cheap untill i find a trans i wanna use for the 350.  i really want a 4speed but probly wont have the cash for this. probly just run a turbo350.

heres the list of parts i have.
2 15x7 enki rims
2 15x8 enki rims
s13 front coverovers
i have a nice set of s13 rear struts(can i use these?)
build chevy 350- as maybe 20miles(as aftermarket everything, just need headers, bored 10over, vortec heads, roller rockers blablabla)
FPR
255fpl fuel pump(probly to much for my set up)
also have a new aftermarket pump that bolts to the block
turbo seats
b/m floor shifter if i beside to run the auto trans

thats all i can think of right now.

pics!

i do have all 4 matching rims with caps. the aftermarket rims are the ones that ill be running

ill have to take some more of the car once i clean it and of the motor

Adding an SSD to that is kinda like strapping a 3 inch stainless HKS exhaust on a geo metro.

I still have OEM Lugs in the bag :S.. But im serious, That is the interior that i have been looking for (I call dibs if you get rid of stuff)

Edit* Steam clean the interior and post pics, It will look so nice. Looks like you just need a new rear bumper and to paint that trim piece above it

well i had 2. the one with the build motor i bought off a coworker. he blew the stock motor up, found a rebuild motor on craigs. still on the stand. he put an oil pan and valve covers on and then it just sat in the truck. i was the only one to drive the truck for like 10miles(to my old house to the new one) that was a 1985

the other was a 1984, i trade my last s12 for it. but it had a stock 305, it was a big turd and i couldnt really pay over $20bucks a day to just get to work and home(about 60mile around trip). so i sold it. it was a clean truck. i put the headers and a stockish duels(look stock, wasnt loud), 33in tires on fresh oem painted rims, cowl hood. just cleaned it up.

soo i took the fuel pump sending unit to work. fixed the fuel level gauge but then the pump wouldnt come on!. so im the middle of figuring out why the pump wouldnt come on, the wire came lose again!. but i got the pump working. i think there is a short at the ecu. added 5 gallons of fresh gas. she fired right up. found some bad vac. lines. after replacing them the car seems to run pretty good. idles and spins the tires really easy(in the yard). i installed the k/n filter(oem replacement) from my last car and i have a set of new ngk wires/plugs ill be installing this weekend. it does oil smoke alittle if you get on it but i ran some engine clean threw it. now just gotta change the oil. going to put a little atf in there hoping itll help free it up.  as well as seafoaming it.

did a quick wash job today!.  also put the other 2 rims on.

wow!

i like the turbo interior my self. but this is pretty cool..

been reading up on the swap. seems like i could just use my stock blazer mounts(i think there the same as the g20 van mounts with a plate). i found a 4speed trans for $200 with bell housing i "might" go get this weekend. but i might not. i havent made up my mind. and the guy still hasnt sent me pics. not really wanting to drive 2 hrs to find out its a truck trans or some shit.

right now im trying to found out what oil pan i can use. from what iv seen it has to be a front sump pan. i have a rear. some sites say GTO. but cant find any on ebay or jegs or summit. i dont know if a newer gto will work on a older motor?..
