Chatbox size
« on: 08:21:49 PM / 29-Jan-12 »
Disclaimer: I tried searching to see if this had been discussed before, but didn't find anything.

If its not too difficult, I think it would be quite handy if the chatbox were made somewhat larger, primarily in the height department. It will display 5 posts currently, but I would personally like to see 8-10. When several people are discussing something, its very easy to have comments pushed off the history before you get a chance to read them if you look away, even for just a second.

Yeah, the issue is, we dont want the chat to take over the entire page.  On some smaller resolution screens, the chatbox and top title bar of the site is already 50% of the screen real estate.  I'll continue working on a chat box, we'll see how it goes.

Maybe use a tab to access the chat box?

Which is what i've been working on for ages.  Due to the nature of our chatboxes frameless style, its harder to create anything like that.  For now, feel free to keep the history page open and refresh it for a longer list of whats been said.

What we originally wanted (and experimented with) was a setup where there was a new tab at the top, you click it and it's basically the shoutbox but full sized, no forum. What you see and type in there shows up in the shoutbox and vice versa. Like a sort of second way to view it and chat if you wanted extended conversations. The shoutbox software had some glitches set up like that but if we can get back to that, where the mini-version at the top is sharing views with the fullsized one... that would be idea.

It's just low priority. We haven't even been able to rework the front page due to busy schedules. So the chat thing isn't quite as important as that.

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch
