I plan on swapping an RB20 into my 87 once I get the money. It currently has a CA20 with a 5 spd tranny. I was hoping someone could help me with the wiring harness issue. I'd also appreciate any advice on the swap as far as common problems and tricks to make it easier. Thanks.

Where we're going... We don't need camber.

Did you even try looking? And the very first page of Exotic swaps, there is a thread about swapping in an rb20, only 13 threads down...

Interestingly enough, there are bunch of people in there that know the question has already been answered many times before in there!

Luckily, Draconis comes in with a save and this link:

BoostedVG (in regards to people hating on the VG) - Me thinks they were not the mechanic they thought and blamed it all on the engine.

Colonol Gustard - youre one of the few people that represent the s12 chassis like a boss!

Sorry! But thank you very much!

If I could do it all over again I would go with a 1JZ like David B did.. Better motor all in all.

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

dont forget to torque the headpast FSM recommendations!

if you want a Toyota L6, why not a 1G-GE? Cheap as fuck at the importers.

1G > 7M/5M by far.

Though if your chasing big power, you're better off with a more modern motor. 1JZ non-VVTi with single turbo conversion is your best bet.
