Today marked the start of turning my '88 hatch into something quite nice.

Today I took off the stock spoiler, and threw in the first set of new speakers. Waiting until I get my next check too do all of the "big" items.

Things I have planned for now:
Getting the body ready for paint, I've got two new headlight assemblies ready. and a driver side front panel. Put those on and start sanding here next week.

Lowering her, Not sure how much I should, Plus I've never lowered anything before so it should be an adventure.

New exhaust.

Finally, Painting. Going with Metallic Sapphire Blue, All the way around. Will keep this up to date with Pictures, Will not be extensive. Still Considering doing an engine swap a ways down the road but with the engine only having 96K, It's still running good.

As she sits now:

From the back:

Had to drill holes for the speakers. Gotta love self tapping drill bits:

Looks like a decent vehicle to start with!  And good lord, those are the most horrible looking wheel covers I have ever seen!

BoostedVG (in regards to people hating on the VG) - Me thinks they were not the mechanic they thought and blamed it all on the engine.

Colonol Gustard - youre one of the few people that represent the s12 chassis like a boss!

Gotta love the 80's!

They're getting replaced as well. Not sure with what yet, Was thinking a flat black 5 spoke of some sort.

Quote from: ka-t.orgHella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
