Destitute *Now with more life :D*
« on: 10:17:52 AM / 26-Jul-12 »
I scooped up a new car, I seen it and jumped all over it. I went a did a quick inspection and bought a non running 1985 Nissan 200SX Turbo that has been sitting in a driveway for many years on July 21st 2012.  The car comes from a family of datsun/nissan owners and some of them work for Nissan :). The car started having a problem and it was just never gotten around to so it sat there waiting patently for a second chance at life. I am the second owner of this Wonderful little gem it has a clean title and I plan on restoring this car to COLLECTORS Status at this point in time. I have already fixed the major noticeable problems by dropping in a new fuel pump )The walbro 255lph that is ment for my ca18det swap on my gray car, and pulled a bunch of old aftermarket alarm wiring. The car sat for 9 years with electrical problems, I got it running smooth again. Just really needs new gas

Almost no one even knows about the car outside a handful that have seen it :P

ONE BAD PUMP Wlabro 255 installed, Replacing fuel filter tomorrow to

153,322KM  :grinwink:

It has a Z31turbo and a full Stainless Steel 2.5`HKS Exhaust on the car, KYB Gas-adjusts (No clue how to adjust). A shop manual, original radio and speakers, Voice still work, BAND NEW MATCHING DOOR PANELS IN SEALED BAGS INSIDE OF SEALED BOXES (Straight into storage as it will be hard as hell to get more)!!!!!, winter tires, OEM sealed 80s Nissan air filter like the one thats in there already, a spare ecu if he can find that and my glove box and whatever else he can think of or finds that might be related to the car. Also gave me a VG30DE the need head work as water got into the "taped" intake plenum while it was outside under plastic

#EDIT pic sizes.

Fuck you then, I'll take my movies, box of chocolates, bottle of wine and chloroform somewhere else.
Adding an SSD to that is kinda like strapping a 3 inch stainless HKS exhaust on a geo metro.

If it was needing a motor i would. But i have no room to store it, I have too many parts in my shop area as it is and now a whole car :( I might be able to store the ecu turbo and the wiring for you  while you sell it, but not the motor or trans. I am talking to a few people that might want some stuff

i too am happy someone is gunna love and get this car up and going.
I went to buy the car expecting it to not be in great shape. I was going to see if it was good enough to consider it to a friend or bad enough that i would swap the interior to my gray car and track this one.... But after seeing how clean it is my plans have totally changed

dude....im happy as fuck for you...but hate you so hard right now!!!!

Im still trying to wrap my head around being 20 and owning 3 insured vehicles.... and i still want the jeep i was looking at for winter. Time to buy a shop :P

It is not one off the ones the guy down the road had :( They are still there rotting away  :grumpy: But Yeah, its that car i posted over there recently, I got it in Vancouver BC.. The lsd  is Just what i was told, could be a LSD swapped in unite.... Gonna find out after i drop the tank and clean up some wiring. Then ill go through the suspension and brakes etc. If it isnt then oh well, Im making this car into a collector so i dont really need an lsd.

The car cleaned up good but i need to give it a good power buff to get the crap out of the clear coat. I tried by hand on the headlight cover last night but the 9 years of sitting outside dont want to leave easily.

Polished headlight cover

Decided to check the timing belt and found a lot of old oil or some crap building up around the distributor, so i got a new valve cover gasket, and the timing belt is cracked up pretty good so i spent most of my day trying to find one..... Nowhere carry's it here so i have the 15 dollar part on order from Edmonton Alberta

Toast alternator belt

Original rad and cap are mint

First sign of rust, on a strip for the front bumper below the grill

Still need a ton of cleaning but its getting better

Before you go too far with it, pull that walbro out and make sure it's resting on the bottom of the housing. It will need to be cut a little.

Otherwise, you will more than likely run out of gas when you have 1/8 tank left. ;)

Thanks for the tip, I will keep that in mind when i swap it into my grey car. I just revamped the old corroded housing and installed a 190lph 5 liter mustang fuel pump, the filter JUST fits into the stock housing. I will upload pics later
