huh? I'm not educated on Z31s by any means but I've never heard of the ecu keeping track of boost directly with any kind of boost sensor. It calculates load based on MAF/TPS/RPM/CTS. The turbo ecu will differ from a NA ecu in the way the fuel and timing maps account for boost. A turbo ecu CAN account for boost and a NA ecu CAN'T. I would first double check your ecu part number and then troubleshoot the problem per the FSM (voltage checks). Good luck

AFAIK the Z31 turbo models have a boost sensor on the left-hand side fender well. The turbo ECU is worth a shot since I have one laying around. Wonder if it will still work with no TPS input.

the 300zx  b00st sensor is for the dash guage only...it has nothing to do with the ecu or tune.

Correct Sir. Just like the CA18ET. Waylon's theory is also correct.
