Yeah. This car is utterly ridiculous. I don't even know what to think. The other side is slightly better. But only by default.

Block is out! We found the missing piston, woooo!
How to easily lift the chassis when youre too lazy to bring the jack over? BAM!

Engine go bye-bye. Turns out my trans seems to be in REALLY good shape, it looks recently redone.

Where the piston was... with its friends! Crankshaft and main bearing girdle!

Oh god.

Holy shit! I thought my 18det was bad with blown ringlands and no metal in sight or scoring on the walls I was just as mystified as you although yours takes the cake. I assume you are swapping in a good motor? Or are you going to try to rebuild this one?

Seriously if I were religious I would pray for you to get an S12 that doesn't have something seriously wrong with it :P

I hope you get this running sooner than later... but I would pull those heads and while wearing a facemask, disassemble them. Oh shit, just hand them to a head shop and tell them to rebuild them. Let them deal with the cleaning.

But there's no way you can just kinda "clean them up a bit" and then bolt them back on. You're gonna have to rebuild the valvetrain now anyways. Might as well have a shop do it.

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

+1 to this, if the rest of the valvetrain and suspension is anything like the strut tube I bought from you guys I would hunt down everything to be replaced like upgrade to the s13 /s14 front, z31 rear.  I still can't get over what I have found inside that strut tube...

Arro, me getting a S12 that isn't 100% boned is, well, impossible. Take the heads apart?! Naaaah. They've been hot-tanked and are ready to rock. Plus, I don't have money to take them somewhere. Lol

Wonderingraven, I would do all of that... If I had money.
