Whoa dude, I was just trying to express some concern for your safety. Cages are sweet and all, but their entire purpose is to save your life. I actually prefer cageless cars for a number of reasons, but it limits me to smaller tracks or streeting.

Good luck with the rest of your build, and I hope you never have to test your cage in real life.

I understand your point but you see pictures on internet nothing about see the work in real life. It's not hard to welds shit. The car is rock solid i flipped it on the side and nothing moved. Anyways what else i can do...all is welded and painted so it will be that.

Little teaser

Looks good, pearl lime green?

BTW, I wasn't bashing or anything, but I'm an industrial welder, professionally. You can tell if a weld has penetrated by appearence, but typically one would do a weld test on scrap and then bisect it to check how the weld ended up. Other methods are ultrasonic (used by most shops and AFAIK SCCA and FIA inspectors) or x-ray (not usually used anymore).
But like I said, a safety cage is just that, for safety. It's not something that should be taken lightly.

I cutted a weld, it's about 80% penetrated. It should do the job. I will consider to replace my welder machine. It looks that it's not powered enough

Damn that looks good. Does the bumper no longer fit or are you just not running it?
