The difference between a legit S12 CA18DET and an S13 CA18DET is the intake manifold. On the S12 it routes over the top of the valve cover, and is not intercooled. On the S13 version it has a different intake manifold and routes the piping to a side mount intercooler (like the SR).

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

is this the only difference hp out put similar ?my guess is better response being no intercooler ?

spiderwebfx

Faster response yes, but your intake temps are higher which decreases power.

zips1

not if i use water injection hehehe

spiderwebfx

Are you going to water inject it?

zips1

yes i think so its quite suited for the job i think as there is plenty of room for an injector on the factory intake pipe and im after good response and reliability and the added fact it helps keep the octane true and i havent done it before so why not eh ?
