Uh... what happened to cs12?
« on: 01:13:21 AM / 18-Dec-14 »
I dipped out to S12Silvia but traffic there is pretty weak too. What the hell happened to CS12 in the past 3 years? Where is everyone? I was over the car scene for a while but I'm back now.
I've been focusing on school and work. Been place to place for the past 2 years after I got kicked out, so I've been on the road every 4-6months. Still unstable, but at least I'm fortunate to have work.

POS12

Is everyone still a cheapass? Why is the tech section dead still.

Andrew or DemonicS12's car is in hibernation. I hooked him up on enkei 92s. 16x9.5 +0 16x8+0. He's focusing on his career.
eightysix200sx I have no clue what happened to him
Gustavo is still slanging parts from what I know
Alex moved to Kentucky.

Edit: Sterling is slowly getting out of the s12 game. He's still in Hemet, storing some of my parts haha.

Let's see here.

Arro still owns his RS-X, as far as I know, but he's been largely inactive on the site, what with his personal life and his love for Dodge Neons
Xano dropped out of the S12 game to focus on his personal life and career. Aside from sysadmin'ing the site, he currently owns a Jeep Liberty and a bunch of fish.
Jay moved to Calumet, MI for school. He still owns his S12, though last I knew, a 17' pile of snow collapsed the rear hatch glass.
Maxpow was arrested on charges of DWI, Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving, Excessive Speed, and others. He is currently serving his sentence.
Colonel Gustard got a job at AutoZone, where he slings parts for marginally more than the local minimum wage. He strives to repair the damage to his rolled SE, and sell his daily-driver XE.
EternalSwap packed his things and moved to Indiana, to work at a Ford plant.
Silverton sold his SE to Mr. 510, and bought a Subaru. Nobody knows what became of him since then. (Except, presumably, Mr. 510)
Rednucleus still owns his bought-new S12, but is a water-skiing, beer-drinking veterinarian and family man. I don't blame him for not posting often.
Iceageg moved to Florida, where he battles the FAA on a daily basis to keep his family familied.
VG33ERGazelle? sold his S12 to somebody who wasn't me. The bastard.
Redneck can still occasionally be seen, though his car was recently stolen and returned.
Sideways_S12 sold his S12s in preparation to move to the UK with his wife.
Eightysix200SX still logs on every once in awhile, though I haven't the faintest what he's been doing.
Prolowtone works at an oil field in Canada.
Wolf Dilworth fucked off to do Austin stuff.
StephenG runs a general contracting service in Longview, Texas, and is still trying to keep his D21 running.
I_Heart_VVL sold his S12 to a needledick and got a job at a local customs shop.
DrummingPariah became a systems administrator for some big-name server company or something. He sold his S12 long before this, to fund one of many aborted S30s.
S12Prelude still lives in Florida. God rest his soul.
Everybody Else just kind of fell off the radar completely.

Nah, quoted for future use because not only is it lame and old, but it's a direct link to Schizo posting up homoerotic menswear fanfiction.

I assume all of the other members gave up? It seems like this site is a ghost town since everyone got permabanned. I really left when DemonicS12 got permabanned and eightysix200sx dropped off. Well when I wrecked my hatch, I was like fuck this. I ended up with that flatblack coupe with the autopower cage. ca20et with MS2. Sterling parted that car out and I ended up with the goodies. Then I bought Henry's heartbreaker s12 and swapped all of my shit over. What's left is an abomination of all s12 parts in one car.

Yeah, I'm still active though I'm too old for most members on this site! I actually keep my CA18ET and SE pretty stock with small upgrades for fun, no drifting just DD. I'm stuck in the 80's while the wifey has her new car...

I'm still lurking.

Bought a pretty clean S12 from TurboTurtle up in Michigan. Drove it for a while with major exhaust leaks - took it to a shop to fix that and they fucked me good. Cutting oil feed lines to replace manifold gaskets and whatnot. None too happy about that.

Car is currently at a different shop getting the SR treatment. Hope to be back behind the wheel next spring and focusing on suspension/body.

Infrequently driving an s12.

Yup. Still own the S12. Drive around in a pathfinder with a plow in winter now. Still the E30 in summer. Haven't replaced the hatch, and on the hunt for an open diff. Thinking of selling.

And, he wasn't joking. It eventually reached the roof. The car was in there.

We average 23 feet up here. The past 2 winters have been above average. My yard is flat. ;)

Wonderingraven: good stuff. I would hate to have 3 non running s12s, but then again I don't have a place for cars.

Cajun1guy: Ah I see. If you need OE parts I am getting rid of my interior lol. Because racecar.

kelso840: good luck man! let me know if you get stuck with the wiring and whatnot. If you need suspension advice, hit me up haha. I near the completion of my suspension setup, sans quality part upgrades.

Jay: I have a spare hatch with glass, from my black car. It has holes for a mk2 spoiler. Pay shipping and it's yours. I can ship from a business address via my work, or possibly my friend's UPS account. I might be able to source you an open diff. r200 or r180?

Unfortunately, other priorities come first ATM. I'd totally take you up on that hatch if I could float it right meow.

How's that VG Pathfinder working out for you, Jay?

Gets the job done pretty well. Even if the VG does constantly give me problems, is gutless and severely overwhelmed. It hasn't actively tried to kill me though! Where it doesn't have power it makes up for in momentum. HIT IT HARDER!

Tranny and transfer case are as solid as a russian hammer though. I PUNISH them. Couple weeks ago I plowed 8 miles of road, 17 inches deep, pegging the gas in 2 low. I swear that shifter was swinging side to side from wheel slip a good 8 inches, the WHOLE time. (Getting to the deer camp, it's on a forest road that isn't maintained.)

Was awesome.

If it was a Chevy on those camp roads, it would have shook a shit. You were lucky.

I got mine still, but the SR made too much power for the Sentra pistons I used and I suspect I cracked a ring-land.
I'm looking to sell, but no takers... I've had it for almost 10 years as a daily driver, I've had my fun and wanted something more modern.
