Leaking coolant

Not really sure what's going on here any help is much appreciated! It looks like it's leaking from the crank pulley and where the oil pan meet.

Definitely the water pump. Pull off the timing belt belt cover and take a closer look.

This might sound stupid but does the water pump use a gasket? The guy at the part store said it didn't call for one but that sounds weird.

Rockauto do list a gasket but you could use a gasket sealant.

My ca20 came with a gasket. Used sealer too. As long as you are in there change the belt and tensioner too if not done recently.
