The hell are these?
« on: 08:41:07 PM / 15-Mar-15 »
First off, know my car isn't starting. I have fuel, power to my plugs, and air.

I have 2 loose connections that look like grounds, but at least one has power. When you touch them together, my tac moves and/or my plugs fire and I get a pop. No idea where they go

Second, I have all these open pigtails, 3 or 4 all in the same general area. Not quite sure what they're for...

on my 85 ca20 they both are grounds attached to the top of my intake mani. I also have one open three wire plug. Hope that helps.

They SHOULD in fact be intake mani grounds.  The open plugs are pretty common on these cars due to options and parts it may or may not have.  From what I can see in the pic, pretty common for those to be open.

those grounds will make little sparks and cause things to move if youre connecting them with the key on. if they still do that with the key off. no dash lights on. then you have a problem.
