Top mount manifold for ET
« on: 05:30:23 PM / 28-May-15 »
I'm thinking about getting a different turbo manifold, and I've found a few for the DET, I just don't know if that will fit the ET. If not, can anyone point me in the direction of a top mount that will fit the ET

Lotsa luck with that! There used to be a dude on here that was making many items for the ET, but he ended up taking money and not sending product and his little gig went out in no time.

Shit. I'm looking for a more "tried and true" thing instead of a one-off. Something people have used before and can vouch for. Maybe bring that spoil down a few RPMs ;)

Yes Bart...he was an expert on the CA18ET and was going to develop lots of things for it. I sure was excited about his projects, paid for his fmic kit and then got a bowl full of excuses. Lost my $400, too bad. I really wanted to see where the little engine could end up. That turbo mount that he made for Sideways was quite a piece of work, I think it would have been a cool thing to have. As Sideways said, there is nothing out there for this engine, you just have to do what you are capable of on your own. You may as well save your time and $$ to upgrade in the future with a different engine.

Looks like I'll just be saving up for an RB or JZ
