Custom Deck Mounting Plate
« on: 05:49:37 PM / 13-Oct-15 »
Just got done a small project today wanted to show off my snazzy creation.

I wired up the deck and machined the plate around it.

The power amp looks stock - I assume it's not - haven't seen one before.
Brushed aluminum look is like the original deck look I had in my 85 - like it!

Looks clean and professionally installed.  Looks like my original deck plate from my 86 which was a great sound system back in the day.  Man I miss that cassette player!

My S12 came with the same amp. Pretty sure they're stock.

Yeah, that's where my module that increases music volume with RPMs lives. Cool that they had a bunch of different options for that position.
Infrequently driving an s12.

I would have like to keep the original deck but it had a cassette jammed that did not want to come out and I only got 2 radio stations so I had to ditch her

Think that's where my cassette deck was located

That sounds right as well. It's been a very long time since I've had a stock radio in an s12 actually a radio period for that matter lol

Same here, I've driven for a few months without a radio. Primarily because the PO thought removing any traces of the radio/harness including clips/speakers would help him drift better? So I added a relay and had to identify all the wires he had hacked off in the harness which totally sucked  :|
