Another S12 wannabe?
« on: 11:03:21 AM / 26-Oct-15 »

I was leaving a Hawaiian Bakery and low and behold, I saw this car parked in the corner.  At first, I thought this car was an S12 (silly me).  I new I had to get a picture with the two chassis together.  I was actually on my way to the Nostalgic 80's and 90's show held at the Toyota Headquarters in Torrance, CA.  Here are a few pictures of some of the cars that were there.

Which would you choose?

I think it's very interesting to see both of these chassis side by side.

That's Chuck, owner of the AE86.  I'm the old guy.

Of course, my wife's and I S12's were the only ones at the show.

AE86 heaven.

My first choice back in 1986.  A little above my budget at the time.

Dammit Jay, you make me envious as ever! It's great to see you representing out there! Nice looking crop of cars, thanks for sharing. Also thanks for gathering those parts we need. You have been MOST helpful to me and my pair. Wish my wife would learn to drive stick, but after trying to work with her on it, I decided not to pursue it due to lack of parts out there!

Why'd you change your username?

Also, Toyotas are small.
Nah, quoted for future use because not only is it lame and old, but it's a direct link to Schizo posting up homoerotic menswear fanfiction.

It's good to have a handle.
