Do people even know the legacy of Jeffwins anymore? He was already a boogeyman right before I showed up in '08. Man, time flies when you're working on shitty s12s.

Sup, Fyne? Given any good massages lately? The F*&! thread kinda died without you around.
Infrequently driving an s12.

How are the Fiesta and Z32 running?  Did you ever go collect the security car?  Are you going to suck with us again or just trolling for fun?

Heya everybody!
Yes i took a long time off.
Or rather, i joined the facebook page and got kicked for asking about a homebrew cast aluminum head.
So many closed minded people.
I posted links to several people who sand cast heads for aircooled vws, a12 and 15 datsuns etc. Even with that...still hated on me.
They asked who I was so I said Jeffwins. Only two people got the reference so I figured i was dealing with noobs.

Glad to see some of the old members are active!
Unfortunately, life happened and it happened unexpectedly.
So i had to sell the z32.
The festiva has the b6d engine swapped in with a couple goodies and turbo manifold maid an waiting for if my situation ever changes.

I caught up with maxpower actually a few months ago.he still has the security car, he was gonna give it away, i gave the green light as long as it went to someone who was an enthusiast. Then I lost touch with him. Im gonna try and find his number and see whar ever happened,  as i figured he would post it for sale on here.

Iceageg, you still down in NC (idb thats where you went)?
We still need to talk ultralights one day over food and drinks!

Kelso: i forgot all about that thread.
Hahah man my antics here were bad sometimes.
I just went through the funny pics thread and laugh harder than I have in a long time!

What ever happened to sam, arrow, xano and the others?

And yeah, still doing massage, taking my show on the road soon!

Ill be around and probably a little active even!

What advancements have come along for suspension, seats and swaps since I've been gone?

Im still gonna do the qr25det into an s12 notch.

Make sure Max gets that back to somebody from here.  I would give it a home in a heartbeat.  Don't let the security notch get lost!

I am just ending my 3 year stint here in north Florida.  I am headed back to Denver this summer.  Will be in Parker with a friend for a few weeks until we find a place of our own again.  I'm happy to talk about anything that flies, or has a motor for that matter.

What ever happened to sam, arrow, xano and the others?
Sam bought an SUV for a daily driver and dropped off the forum.  He chimes in once in a great while just to say hi.  Arro and Xano are super busy with life but still around.  They don't post much unless called on.  Iggy moved to the east coast and is also busy as a one leg'd man in an ass kicking contest.  Still around but not active on the site.  Most of the "new" members prefer facebook it seems.

And yeah, still doing massage, taking my show on the road soon!

Where is "on the road" taking you?  Colorado is still one of the places to be for service industry jobs.  More people with disposable income there than a lot of places.  Iggy was making adjustable rear arms for a while and there is at least one thread with nice looking custom adjustable front bits.  I don't have the links handy but they should be easy enough to find.  You would still be the first to do a QR swap in an S12.  There have been a few V8 swaps finished since you left but nobody has even hinted at QR since you last did.  Not here anyway.  Maybe on FB.

Iceage:
Glad to hear you are coming back!
Careful,  denver  (umbrella term) has gotten astronomically priced since you left.
Part of the reason im in the boat that I'm in.
Parker is still pretty good though, some nice plots of land out that way.
Im actually hitting the road down to your state in just a little while. I want to stand up paddle board the rainbow river in Ocala.

My next to after i ger settled again will be an ultralight heli. Im am completely sold on the idea. Just gonna take some saving.

I sent max a message yesterday.  Just waiting to see if he responds.

I've been back to Denver several times since I left and have watched it expand in both size and expense.  We will be looking out east of town a significant distance.  When do you get to FL?  Ocala isn't too far from me (south Jax).  I will be here another few months living among my boxes of possessions.  Most of the apartment is packed and ready to move which sucks right up until it is move day.

Not sure if you are moving away from Denver entirely or just taking an extended trip but ultralights definitely work better in other (low lying) states.  It takes a pretty spirited little Rotax to breath that thin rocky mountain air.

Yeah. Its amazing how fast denver has shot up and grown.

Extended trip.
Im living the van life right now while I save up for some land in either southern CO, or up in the mountains.
I'll be traveling a big chunk of this year and probably next.

Jax is just a hop skip and a jump from where i will be staying. Sarasota and st Petersburg as well

Haha ok I remember now. I think it might have been schizo then as Arro myself and Schizo were the only admins of the page... and schizo is no longer an admin.

I try to avoid facebook as much as possible for various reasons so I rarely appear on the CS12 page.  There is certainly a lot more traffic there than here on the forum these days though.  It sends me emails about new topics posted and my impression is it is mostly FS/FT swap meet type posts and questions from people who don't want to find the answer on the forum themselves.  More pics posted there for sure but no useful build thread type content and in true facebook style it is a pain in the ass to find any historical content.

Iceageg is right. Lots more traffic, lots more drama.
Lot of kids who dont want solid advice, just quick fix.
Theres a place for it, most definitely, but just not my cup of tea.

Too bad the old timers went inactive, we could have all types of meets.

Glad to see oldschool names on here again!!!!!!!!  How you been holding up???
