[TX] Dallas FT. Worth 1988 s12 vg30e
« on: 07:45:29 AM / 08-Jul-16 »
Was running fine until spring 2015 when an exhaust leak in the cabin became unbearable. I worked on the right and  left cylinder heads. I polished the valves, valves seats and new valve stem seals and new head gaskets. Timing is fine, but there is a problem as it now misfires like crazy. Could be that the head needs to be resurfaced or re-flattened. I did not do either of these two last steps.

The transmission is an FS5R30A with a custom 1 piece drive shaft from Drive Shaft King. The tranny was from a 1990 Pathfinder 4x4. I mounted the transmission per instructions from one of our old howtos that I kept in text format. New clutch kit installed in 2013. Less than 2000 miles driving since then. J30 aluminum wheels with plenty of rubber. Electrical is fine including the ECU/ECCS. interior needs work as with any S12. Clean title, no bullshit. Asking 800.00.

I am moving and can no longer afford time to work on this car. Want pics? Please message me.

Unfortunately I will be crushing it fairly soon. If anyone want to offer me a price, I am listening. I cannot hold on to it any longer.

For the love of god do not crush it. If it was a base model or even a turbo that would be one thing but it is an SE. On top of that it is an 88 SE which was the best year SE as only the late 87 and 88 SE's got the W series vg. Someone pick this up!!!
