As the temp's start to cool the tail lights vanished again so I need to figure out the wiring issue.
I am pretty sure the wiring issue is near or around the battery,

a possible bad connection.

after countless of hours tracing.

I have found that this sensor is the issue.

This sensor is located behind the wheelwell in the trunk area passenger side. I just bypassed one wire and now I have lights when I hit the breaks. Bypassed until I can get a replacement sensor.

That sensor is what causes the warning lamp on the dash to light up in case you have a burned out brake lamp.

ohh, that light always lights up when I touch the brakes so makes sense.

Question is now, all the bulbs are new and is in working order, if that is what it does. I wonder if the sensor itself is completely fried in a way it's causing my issue.

I also need to referb / replace the headlight switch.

A mysterious issue has started to happen.

Fuel pressure atleast checks in just fine, I can hold the RPM down above 1500+ and rev it just fine just wont hold an idle.
I am suspecting a massive Vacuum leak somewhere but I am not seeing it.

Fuel Regulator shows normal so it's not bleeding fuel in and doesn't change the vacuum starting and dying.
MAF could be a suspect but unsure. This just started happenig thought it was the fuel pump at first but it wasn't as I swapped out fuel pumps and still no go.

After some troubleshooting, CA20 is back to running strong, I found a vacuum leak on the lower half of the intake that should have had a plug that is no longer there and a few bolts on the intake to head could use an extra turn.

Starts right up, just needs an oil change now and some gas and she is ready for daily status once again.

been rather amazed how she is working for me still, so I have been feeling to restore the A/C and the power steering.
I need the brackets + bolts + everything else to restore the power steering.  A/C I just need the compressor + bracket + bolts.

potentially should work just fine I would just have to re order the lines for it and hope the rack isn't leaking. I do have the rack from the 84 car I had to chop up last year if I need to get it rebuilt or I think there was a company that still sells remains maybe still? it's been since 2012ish when I had to order a remain for my 87.

Went to start it up as I wanted to focus on making this my daily driver again... still need an A/C compressor and mounting bracket along with powersteering pully and bracket for an ca20.

Fuelpump died, fuel needs to be syphoned.... will run on starting fluid tho. been getting alot of really bad fuel lately, last one destroyed my dw200 on another project.  THe fuel is like rotting faster than I am used to.

fuel is really bad, oddly enough it was fresh in december when I had it running and got gas >.> I just let it sit due to no where to go.

I have an ac compressor from an 86; possibly some brackets you need as well.

Awesome, Let me know how much you would like for them.  I am ready to get this lil beast of a car back on the road before summer time and blowing some cool a/c.

Update to this:

technically updated the wrong post. Problem started with the car not staying running, massive loss of fuel pressure so I cranked open the fuel tank and found that the old gas sitting inside destroyed the walbro 190 I had in there. Pump is 100% burned out. Ordered an DW200 and swapped it in.
Let her run for over 2+ hours to help flush out any bad fuel from the system as I've dumped the tank last weekend and filled it up with 91 today.

Here is a video of her running.

I've been rolling around with a blown fuel pressure regulator with this ca20e, so I've been digging on how to modify a current fuel rail and convert it to after market style.
I am working on slowly making this car my daily ride again, since the motor was and still is a beast. It's been a slow process as I was recently laid off of my job for but I just recently found a new job and just finally got word on my unemployment.  Money has been really tight especially at one point I didn't think I will survive the summer, but all is good now and I'm back.

I still have to load up the A/C and reconnect the lines and stuff re/retrofitting everything in a134.

I still need to get a set of custom headers made, but I am going to keep her ca20e for both nostalgia and simplicity.

been dragging a bit but also storms preventing me from draining the gas and flush the tank. But just like the other s12 bad gas has somehow cause rust and some weird buildup out of nowhere.
Trying to restore this to be my daily again since I feel much more safe to drive to work.

The state of my fuel tank was horroble as well when I got the car and it quickly killed the original fuel pump. There we deposita of what almost seemed like sand at the bottom of the tank. I had to have it refurbished and the inside coated in some epoxy stuff or something. It's been alright ever since
But what do I know? All I know about cars I learned from youtube...
