WTB: Turbo manifold - Shipped to Australia
« on: 08:23:22 PM / 15-Nov-16 »
I'm after a CA18et standard turbo manifold, preferably with the heat shield.  Shipped to Oz.
Turbo oil lines would be handy as well.
Thx

Can't help with the manifold but it might be a good idea to lose the factory turbo oil feed steel line and use a braided line instead. It saves a lot of trouble when taking off and installing the manifold, the turbo itself, and the down pipe. There's very little room even without the factory steel line which has terrible habit of getting in the way when undoing bolts.

What I used on my Mk1 is:
- 1m long AN-4 braided steel line (which I led under the engine alongside the the crossmember. You'll probably be able to lead it behind the head like the factory line if you get a longer one)
for the engine block side:
- AN-4 Eye Banjo Adapter (eye diameter 12.5mm)
- M12 x 1.0mm Banjo Bolt
for the turbo side:
- AN-4 Eye Banjo Adapter (eye diameter 11.5mm)
- M11 x 1.0mm Banjo Bolt (also referred to as 7/16in x 24)

The Mk2 engine has a bit different setup. The oil feed is on the other side of the engine block and I'm not sure if the thread sizes are the same

Thanks. That sounds good. Still after a manifold too if anyone had one.

This is an old post, but any luck on that manifold?
Trust in Japan still has them for sale brand new.
Takes about two months since they are made to order.
here are the part numbers: 10521051
                                        10521055 w/actuator attachment
Down under contact Car Toys and reference either of those part numbers.
