Air shocks for rear

I am curious if any one has or has heard of installing air shocks in rear to raise back of car?  I know most everybody wants to lower car. With michigans shit roads I would actually like to raise car about  1.5 to two inches. I heard Ford Mustang shocks (what year) fit on rear. Any suggestions?

Fox body Mustang rear shocks is the way I've often heard it said. No personal experience.
