Hey guys my name is Uriel and just discovered this forum after buying my 200sx. Im based in MN and I thought this would be great to introduce myself and get some answers to my questions. The car is a little beat up cosmetically, but I wanted to take care of all my mechanical components first before I got into any small details. If anyone has any tips on how to KA24DE swap my engine it would be very appreciated. And does anyone know where I can get some good drift suspension parts for this car? I really want to turn this into a drift build.

Welcome to the forum!  The good news is there is an abundance of very detailed information in this forum about the KA-DE swap you seek.  It has been done many times and everything you need down to the color of each wire and how to make motor mounts out of hockey pucks is broken down here.  The so-so news is that traffic on this forum is slow but consistent.  Most of the daily traffic is on the Facebook group these days but answers to specific questions can be difficult to find there.  You will always get answers here but it may take a day or two for the OG's to check in and get you taken care of.  There is a good chance your question is already answered so search the forum first.  99% of what can or needs to be done to an S12 is archived here.

The bad news, there aren't many parts out there for the S12 so you may need to get creative when sourcing parts or fabricating your own.  This is not a "bad" thing for most of the S12 community but it is something to be aware of.  It will take more effort than a run of the mill Civic or newer S-chassis but the result will be your own.  Take your time and you will be able to smile next to the only one at pretty much every cars and coffee you ever attend.

I was afraid all the five gallon buckets of pain stacked four high were going to fall over

Thank you so much. I’ve done a lot of digging through these forums and found a lot of useful information. Thank you for the warm welcome :)

Iceageg has said it all.

Start a build thread and post your progress here. The only thing is you have to host your pics somewhere else and link to them here. A site like Imgur works well and it's free.

I remember a MN car being for sale recently and wonder if that's the one you got.
