Help me price this car
« on: 08:45:51 PM / 14-Apr-21 »
I'm looking to get back into an s12 after losing mine to an accident 6 years ago. How much would you pay for the car in the link. Its obviously overpriced but I would try to talk them down. I'm willing to pay market price but I have no idea what market price is these days!

Just to help, they are including $500 rims with the sale which I would put on the car since I like them. Best estimate is that the "new" parts total $2000 if bought new.

Personally I think it's worth a good amount.  It has the things on an s12 that you almost can't buy anymore.  Looks mostly original, clean body and interior, V6 & 5 speed. The fake nismo stuff, and china wheels should be ignored lol.

I don't think it's worth 10k quite yet, but $5-7k wouldn't surprise me. I hope that fans start taking these cars seriously enough, and recognizing that we are losing these cars rapidly to age.

But bottom line is that even if it's not worth 10k, whatever the seller will come down to is the right number. It might be worth 10k to him, and never sell.

seller said it has a new motor 20,000 less then chassis, does that mean the motor was replaced when the are had only 20,000 miles?  If all is original and low mileage then 10k  give or take but I'm with Max.
