I was a member here under another username when I was in high school (2001-05).  The site was more active then.  I had a red '88 SE.  It was a project and I never got it back to it's former glory.  When I left for college I gave it to a friend who sold it in 2014.  I regret selling it now.  If I can find pics I'll post them.  The friend I gave it to told me it was a Shadow Edition.  I can't find almost anything about that online.  I assume it's an obscure trim level.  It had awesome (15" I think) wheels that had Nissan centercaps that I have never seen since.  Anyways, I like to lurk on here and hope for another s12 project.  I'm certain the one I had is wrecked or in a junkyard.  Last I heard it had 350k miles on it.  Apparently it was being drifted in Illinois.  I now have a shop setup and would be able to restore one properly.  Thanks for having me back!

Thanks!  My original username was n.senada.  I'm not able to access that account anymore.  The email account and email server it was on are long gone.  I did go back and see what I posted.  It wasn't much.  Unfortunately I didn't post any pics of the cars, just asked a bunch of noob questions!

It does seem like s12's are getting very hard to find.  That's something I didn't exactly expect.

Yeah, it seems a lot of forums lost regular users to Facebook groups.

Welcome back to the fold.

I'm also a returnee of a sort. I bought my first S12 in 1988 and drove it daily for 19 years before giving it away to an NPR station in W.D.C. However a month or so later that station changed its formula from the news and info I liked to 24 hr classical - made me feel ripped off! During none of that time had I heard of this site.

Fast forward to 2013 and I was back in the hunt for another. Then in the spring of 2014 I found a gem in GA with only 32k on the clock and snapped it up. It just eclipsed 50k last month.

This car does get under your skin. If you go to the Club S-12 facebook page under the 'announcements' link there you'll find access to a Member's Map through Google Maps and you can add your location.
