WOOT is all I have to say. Its raining here in Augusta, GA but it wasnt enough to stop me from bringing out the ca20et after HOURS AND DAYS of repairs to finally hit what I have been wanting for a year and a half.
Today I had to do MANY repairs to fix things I F\'d up earlier.
1) Turbo to manifold nuts came loose.....no boost making.
2) Exhause had to be cut and re-cupling\'d to straighten it
3) IC piping had to be epoxied up for leaks
4) vacuum lines had to be replaced
5) MAF had to be replaced
6) downpipe lost a nut so I replaced that
7) exhaust to downpipe got new screws and things
8.) Heatshield had to be modified
9) 1G BOV had to be crushed so I can hit 20psi later

(j/k) it was leaking a little
10) Dizzy had to be adjusted for timing
11) Oil and coolant lines had to be rerouted to avoid another engine fire....
12) Boost Controller and Cruise Control had to get new vacuum lines
Finished all that and took it for the first REAL spin in a while. With everything in place it fired up right away...suprisingly and idled at 1700RPM cause my Air Regulator SUCKS...(mimms ) then dropped to a nice 800-900rpm. Took it out and just let loose. About 3100RPM, all hell breaks loose. 3rd gear spinning. Mind you I have just shy of 200 miles on the new engine, so going over 4K is a No No for right now. But with 7psi, all I can say is that this year and a half of HELL:kicknuts: was worth every penny and minute spend building it myself (with the help of my friend Tj). I hope to have a short video of the car soon, but as for now, this rain is something that really scares me with the RWD and a turbo.
