Was trying to use some logic and figure out what might fit.

If the CA18 fits, that would mean the SR fits?  Correct? (Since both came in the S13...or is the ET and DET block that much different?)

If this is true, the front suspension member is probably very similar to the S13 and S14?  Make sense? Can anyone confirm?

If that is also true, what about the kit that McKinney motorsports has to swap in RB series motors?  Any reason it wouldn\'t fit in the S12?  The only thing that comes to mind is the length of the RB series....but I have a couple of S14s and access to an S13 to measure.

The S12 is as wide as an S13/14, but the engine bay is 2\" shorter firewall to rad support. Rad support has to be cut out, firewall notched to fit the RBs. Some guy was supposedly making a bunch of parts through his speed shop for us - mounts for RBs, suspension etc, but nothing has materialized at all yet. In the S13s and Z31/2s with the RBs, even without the clutch fan, the motors are a paper width away from the rad.

S13 front suspension can be swapped in, from spindle to strut tops, but the strut tower needs to be opened up a bit for everything to fit.

VGs will fit, VG30DET will fit, barely ... custom manifolds are pretty much a necessity for any of the turbo VGs. There was one VG30DET swapped into an S12 that was for sale on the old board.
