Everybody should listen to Jaster. He had lots of pics showing what he did... had to redesign the motor mounts, lots of custom wsork, and even now he's telling you don't do it. That's from a guy who HAS done it. So it's not just that the crossover pip won't fit, there's much more to it.

That's why the veterans who are playing with the SE S12 are trying different routes, like supercharging, remote mount and front mount turbo, etc.

Honestly, the remote mount I think is the way to go. MC gave me all his pics, and as soon as I get a chance to talk with him and ask some questions, I'm gonna write him a "how-to".

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

I have been searching for threads about remote turbo setups and cant find much. Just talk, but no real info. Could you steer me in a good direction for some good info and possibly some pictures or a write up please? Id greatly appreciate it.

The most detailed thread is http://club-s12.org/retro4/index.php?topic=8278.0. MC is still active here, super knowledgeable and updates his build thread regularly.  First result when searching for the words "remote mount".

Yea.  If you were just searching for vg30et you likely found a lot of hate.  They just don't fit in the smaller S12 chassis the way they fit in the Z31.  Some creativity and custom fab is needed.  As for responding to an older thread, at least you searched and found something to add to instead of starting another thread that would die with 3 posts.  I much prefer adding useful information to a necro thread than an ocean of tiny ones that never have enough info to be useless.  I assure you, if it is S12 related you will find information about it here with enough searching.
