QuoteI love how PPL think that because I and many other\'s like tuning SR\'s, that we have a god complex over any other engine......FuC an SR give me an RB anyday.....

I just like my SR because I live in the states......I can get SR parts (replacement parts) easier......We got a version (FWD) of the SR and it has many interchangeable parts such as the waterpump (notoriously going bad on an S13 redtop/blacktop) Yeah I love my SR\'s, Doesnt mean I think anyone else is inferior (sp?) And Just to clear the record.....Once again I will say that my S13 (SR powered and NOT stock) got wasted by a bad ass CA.....LOL Shit if you want to hear a real bad story, I got beat by a Geo storm with a turbo 3 Cylinder suzuki engine....Its all about the way you build it not the fact that one is better than the other......LOL if one engine was better than the other tell me why I had a set of iskiderian cams and a set of pace setter headers and a catback exhaust on my SEv6 ( a long time ago...) and i walked the dog on a Turbo Z31??????

I think your taking this shit personal Euroboy.....Its not......Its a message board.....I guess next you\'ll be threatening to kick each and everyone of our arses......HAHAHA!

nah i am not violent man!
all i did was compare 2 engine to the best of my knowledge and ppl where telling me their certificates.  I mean that\'s good if they have them.  BUt don\'t show certificates just to shut someone.  This is a topic, no need to stirr up shit.....we can do that at lounge and have some fun!

Well thats if you go NA, you could get alot more beer into an engineer using forced induction ;)

If looks could kill you'd have eyes like cyanide...

yeah man, forced induction drinkin is the way, i built a killer beer bong, HUGE funnel feeding a T28BB turbo, blowing into a custom mandral bent plastic hose then into the mouth of the drinker..........she pulls 2BAR beer pressure, runs a surge keg to make sure the funnel is never empty, and makes 600hoseHP..........................:-)

does it have a BOV to spray all bystanders with beer?  :p
biiru o nomimashooka?

bizzaro

haaaahaha.  man I wanna take a shot at that bong.  Best one I ever made was a two story monster.  It took the better part of a 40 to load.  :)

Mr.200

MMm ... yeah, but my bong is alcohol injected too ...

Man, a 16oz blast of 150 octane with your suds

0 - going home with Neb in 5.5 seconds.

Let\'s not even bother getting into my eco-friendly bong ... it runs on 100% organic material :D

It pays to be environmentally conscious ... save the barley!

to settle this like it gets settled in every other forum it depends on what your doing with the engine drag,auto-x, or drift,,, all depends on that

HAHA

You guys are all crazy.

Pretty soon i will have two identiacally matched (suspension) Late gen coupes running. One with CAdet and the other with SR.

From the looks of this thread I might just have to start doing streamlined perfomacne upgrades to both just for the sake of settling this argument.

But Is it fair to give away the CA\'s .2 of a litre. Like in turbo and injector and cam sizing? Or should i spec each one for maximum potential.

But as soon as i do that. the OCD kicks in and i have to end up building each motor into a race gas only whore...hmm

Ok, I\'ll streamline the turbos and injectors. But the cams will spec differently for the sake of argument.

And i\'ll give the CA the bennifit of a little nicer PEM by using the microtek on the ca, and a Power FC on the SR.

damn that was a crazy thread and teh beer is very nice buty i really odnt think we coudl ever end a debate ona 1.8 l of beer to a 2.0 l of beer com on who do u think will get drunker quicker

I\'m surprised more people don\'t compare the FJ20ET to the SR20DET. Same capacity (2L), both are big engines (compared to the dimensions of the CA especially), both have aftermarket parts available (though the FJ ones are getting hard to find & are nowhere near as plentiful as those for the SR now).

^^^ To me, that sounds liek comparing the KA series to the RB series.
