Hola.  So what all was involved in modifying your SE?  Sounds like a nice nissan stable you have there.  You think the SR\'d 200 is gonna be the fastest outta the 4 or is the fastback already at a high state of tune?

Whats up? Names Jeff, I work for Nissan as a scope certified tech.
I live in the US, and I reside on the east coast.....Ive been tunning Nissan\'s since before i can remember.....Started with my Dads Datsun 280Z and grew into my first car (which I still have) an 87 S12 SE V6.....i have since modified it to my standards and am happy with it.....I also own a 91 Fastback S13 with an SR and an S15 conversion (thanks to my boy Luis...) I also have a 95 240sx with a KA24DE built for Streetable Nitrous.....(basicly bolt ons and a little juice to suprise the honduh boys)......And my newest project is an SR powered 86 S12.....(base model CA20E for the moment).......I drift a bit, but my passion lies in the straits.....Im 24 years old, I have a son thats 14 months old, and a fiancee that hates my passion for cars.....(LOL)....I own a local Nissan enthusiast website for VA.....Ive done some crazy swaps including a SR in a 1990 BMW 325......I love information and I will sometimes be wrong, but I hate beeing castrated for a wrong answer, we are all here to learn and I never stop learning......

Hope you like me and to those of you I\'ve allready pissed of, Its gets worse...HAHAHA....J/P.....

-Jeff

I think I may have seen pics of that E30 with the SR in it...I know I have before...dunno if it was in VA or not tho.

and dont\' worry about it.  unless you\'re a total ass about it, nobody will castrate you for being wrong.  we ALL have the same attitude towards learning here.

Welcome, Jeff.  Always good to see another SE owner, and it sounds like your experience will be a real asset to the club.  I\'m also curious to hear about the mods to your SE.  The standard mods among the V6 guys here are KA24 throttle bodies, Z31 MAFs and ECU\'s, exhausts and electric fans.

Where in VA are you?

BTW, I know it\'s short notice, but if you wanted to join a bunch of us in the mountains of Western NC this weekend for some fun in the twisties, you\'d be welcome.

I will have pics of the new Base S12 as soon as possible......

heres a few of my S13....

 Before the swap.....

After the swap.....I hit a possum and I now have to repaint my front bumper.....

under the hood....(it was close to stock other than a few mods and a T28 at the time....)
Work in progress......I bet my S12 is faster than yours......HEHE....

As far as the SE goes......My mod list is so extensive it would be hard to type it.....Basicly I had arias racing make me forged rods, pistons and crank,Along with a set of ported and polished and flow matched heads...Opened up the valves by .3 of an inch (all of them).....I originally had swapped a VG30ET into it and decided to build it.....Now it is a VG33E block from a 99 Frontier....Oversized pistons and stock VG33 Rings......All forged and dipped.....Sequential dog box tranny, Strait T4 turbo (full BB) 9.5:1 dome top pistons.....Custom greaser fabbed Race turbo manifold.....moddified SR down pipe (3\") into a 3.5 Inch exhaust all the way to the rear......I also have a remote cutout to run strait out the DP......3\" mandrel bent custom FMIC piping, Spraying the IC with C02, Custom log style Intake manifold......And the rest of the goodies just add to it.....It is all ran by a Haltech E6X engine managment system......Isky cams, and a bunch of other shit.......Basicly its a race car now....It has been off the road for 3 years now......(It only runs on 112 Octane Race gas....) Best ET was a 13.4 at 119 MPH....Cant remeber my 60 foot but it sucked.......HAHA......
