not sure what you\'re asking ...

89-90 is a SOHC KA
91-94 is OBDI KADE
95+ is OBDII KADE

But all 3 of them CAME with the \"C\" tranny, which is just an upgrade of the \"B\". MKI 200sxs have the B tranny, MKII the C

Either tranny, you\'ll still need the KA bellhousing.

But yeah, Alex is right

Ka clutch, Ka bellhousing + your 200sx tranny is the only way to swap without cutting down the driveshaft.

I\'m sorry what I mean to say is  \"can use a 89-94 240sx short shifter in my stock transmission\" correct?

Yes you can, but you might need to modify it a bit. Not the shifter, but the plate itself where it mounts. The differences in the trannies (200sx \"C\" vs 240 sx \"C\") is the tail section, so I don\'t see why not.

I really wish I knew where my shifter came from. I have an extremely short shifter (compared to stock) and it hasn\'t been cut down, but it came with the car. I\'m assuming he used one for an S13, but I can\'t say for sure.

I pritty mutch did the same thing you are doing but in reverse. I used my stock vg bell, and the ka24 trans and tail shaft. I had to get a new driveline made 1 7/8 shorter $250 USD. It works verry good. The tranny mount is my stock one no mods. It was a straight bolt up.:) I had to cut the shofter hole back 2\". As for a short shifter I\'m using the C Speed shifter kit for the 240sx. It will work with the stock trans as well. If you have any Q\'s go ahead and ask me :)
